Booking & Deposits

A project is not considered booked and will not be added to our schedule until the required deposit has been received.

Once your quote has been delivered, we will reserve your requested start date for up to 48 hours. If the required deposit has not been received within that time, the reservation will automatically expire, and the opening may be offered to another client.

Should this occur, your original start date can no longer be guaranteed and will be subject to our current availability.

Additional Information

  • Deposits secure your place on our schedule and allow us to dedicate time and resources to your project.
  • Final payments are due 24 hours before project completion to ensure a smooth delivery process.
  • Work may be paused if scheduled payments are not received by the agreed-upon due date.
  • Any additional work requested beyond the original project scope may require a revised quote and timeline.

Client Policies & Studio Standards

At Magnolia Hill Artistry & Design, our goal is to provide an enjoyable, collaborative, and transparent design experience. The following policies help ensure every project runs smoothly for both our clients and our team.

Communication

We believe great communication is the foundation of every successful project.

  • All project communication should take place through your designated point of contact.
  • We strive to respond to messages within 24–48 hours during business days.
  • While we welcome questions and updates, excessive messaging may impact project timelines. We ask that all communication remain respectful and consolidated whenever possible.

Project Scope

Your quote is based on the information provided during your consultation.

Changes to the original scope—including additional buildings, major layout revisions, expanded landscaping, or new design requests—may require a revised quote, additional time, or both.

Design Process

Magnolia Hill Artistry & Design is a collaborative studio.

We value your ideas and feedback, while also asking clients to trust our creative process and expertise. We encourage feedback throughout the project and provide opportunities for reasonable revisions before completion.

Access to Your Region

Clients are responsible for ensuring our team has the permissions necessary to complete the project.

Before your scheduled start date, please ensure:

  • Terraform permissions are enabled.
  • Build permissions are available.
  • Edit permissions are granted where necessary.
  • Any required group invitations have been accepted.

Project timelines may be affected if required permissions are unavailable when work is scheduled to begin.

Existing Objects

Unless otherwise discussed during your consultation:

  • Existing objects may need to be moved, returned, or removed to complete the project.
  • Please identify any items you would like preserved before work begins.
  • Magnolia Hill Artistry & Design is not responsible for items returned to inventory due to insufficient permissions or project requirements.

Project Timeline

Estimated completion dates are based on the original project scope.

Timelines may change due to:

  • Scope changes
  • Waiting on client feedback
  • Missing permissions
  • Custom content delays
  • Second Life outages or technical issues

Should delays occur, we will communicate them promptly.

Client Availability

To keep projects moving efficiently, clients are asked to respond to review requests and questions in a timely manner.

Extended delays in communication may result in your project being temporarily paused until responses are received.

Revisions

Reasonable refinements are included as part of every project.

Requests for significant redesigns or major changes after approval may be quoted as additional work.

Payment Policy

Projects follow the payment schedule outlined in our Payment Structure.

Work may be paused if scheduled payments are not received by the agreed due date.

Completed projects will not be considered finalized until all outstanding balances have been paid.

Booking Policy

Your project is not officially scheduled until the required deposit has been received.

Quotes remain valid for 48 hours unless otherwise noted.

After 48 hours, your requested start date may no longer be available.

Project Completion

Before completion, we’ll walk through the finished project together and address any remaining agreed-upon adjustments.

Once the final walkthrough has been completed and final payment has been received, the project will be considered complete.

Courtesy & Professionalism

Magnolia Hill Artistry & Design is committed to maintaining a respectful, welcoming environment for both clients and team members.

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue projects involving harassment, abusive behavior, discrimination, or repeated disrespectful communication.

We believe the best creative partnerships are built on mutual trust, kindness, and professionalism.
